I had intended to hand out some door prizes when I reached 300 followers...
and then things got busy, and today we're at 317!
I never dreamed anyone but my mom would read what I had to say on here, and I value you all very much!
{Hi Mom.}
So... leave a comment. Tell me what you're working on, what you're doing this week, whatever you want to. I have 2 fat quarters of this print from the DSQuilts collection to share with you.
If you are a no-reply blogger, please leave an e-mail address so I can contact you. I'll leave it open until Friday night.
Thanks for following!
I am halfway through my 2nd week at a new job. Working lots of overtime. So busy that I haven't sewn in weeks! I hope to rectify the problem on Saturday. :)

ReplyDeleteI am working on binding 2 quilts - I want to get them finished before I start my next project, which will be a t-shirt quilt. I am not usually too thrilled with t-shirt quilts, but I am trying a new pattern this time. It looks a lot more fun than your ordinary t-shirt quilts...I really enjoy your blog - lots of neat stuff on here. Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteI am trying to finish up some old projects with deadlines, but I want to work on a new baby quilt for a friend.
ReplyDeleteHi Wendy... Congrats on passing the 300 mark! I am within 5 of the big 300 myself! It wasn't long ago I didn't think I would ever get 100...and now almost 300! We must be doing something right!
ReplyDeleteI have cut out 3 quilt tops from one fat quarter bundle and have sewed the first row of 3 together of the first one. Will be blogging about them on the weekend. A friend is coming for a sew in and that is what I will be doing.
Congratulations! We're celebrating - we just got over an inch of rain in our part of Texas! Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteWoohoo! 300 is awesome!
ReplyDeleteI am working on the 3rd of 3 Christmas quilts - all different but all from a variation on the same set of fabric swatches swapped with my BFF and my sister. (shhh.... one is for me but the other 2 are surprises!)
Congratulations on 300 followers. I'm in the middle of a quilt for my daughter.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on all the followers, there is a reason you have so many followers! I'm working on a block of the month quilt, it's only been two years since I bought them, well better late then never.
ReplyDeleteWhat a milestone! I am cutting polka for fabric charms and hexies for 2 different projects.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on 300 followers! I am choosy about blogs I follow, and I follow YOU :) I need to finish some Flurry holiday placemats soon. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm 4 blocks into hand quilting a 16 block (queen sized) quilt. Wish me luck!!! :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! I am in week three of a new job, doing some travelling for that, helping coordinate my friends' wedding which is in a week and a half, making them a quilt and just plain too busy. Thanks for a nice giveaway.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the over 300 followers! I am not currently working on anything. School started for me today though and I'm carrying 10 units...*sigh* Hope I can sew at some point this semester. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteYay for 300 followers! I am currently working on a belated wedding quilt for my brother and his new wife. They have been married for a month, but I planned the wedding, so I didn't have time to get it all together before the wedding!
ReplyDeleteI am working on a multiple of things....lets see, aprons, chefs hats for the young women at church. Two of my own quilt designs, trying to get some UFO's done....well..the list keeps going...have a wonderful day and congrats on the over 300 follwers.
ReplyDeleteWhat I'm working on????? Too many UFOs would be the answer. I'm in the "let's get some of these finished " mode. Congrats on 300+
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on over 300 followers!
ReplyDeleteAt the moment I'm quilting a string quilt for my daughter
Congrats on 300+ followers! I am busy doing the 'quilting' on several quilts...not my favorite part!
ReplyDeleteWorking on a quilt to auction at my church dinner - a good chance to work with some bright, fun fabrics that I would probably otherwise steer clear of!
ReplyDeleteI found your blog when you posted your pattern on the Moda Bake Shop blog. I like your style! I'm busy getting my county fair entries ready to go -- labels, sleeves, etc. It's always fun to see your quilts displayed!
ReplyDeleteI've been a long time follower!Congrats on 300!! That means you are doing a good job!! I'm up to 94 and I am impressed..Ha!! You just never know what folks want to read. I need a new camera to take better pictures. The cord I have is "sick" so I can't upload/download or whatever the word is! I'm hand quilting my oldest grandson's quilt and working on a tutorial for my guest blog at Stash in Sept.
ReplyDeleteCome see me and become a follower if you haven't already. I love visitors

Congrats on hitting over 300 followers!! Currently I'm working on some HST baby quilts! Jenn
ReplyDeleteJust sent my baby off to college so today I'm working on 2 pillowcases, one for him and one for his girlfriend, to put into my first care package!
ReplyDeleteI am working 7 days straight as my mgr job in a fast food restaurant. I have a few quilts in the pipe. The one on my sewing table will be a queen size quilt for our bed. Congratulations on your followers. I am looking forward to the tote bag tutorial from the moda bakeshop quilt.
ReplyDeleteEarlier this evening I dropped off a Five yard quilt (probably a little more)at the Long Arm quilter. I have been working on a 10 Minute Tile quilt block for about a week. So far, I am using totally recycled fabric. I am using denim jeans for the main blocks and Plaid shirts for the contrasting block. I will probably have to buy a backing fabric, unless I piece some of the shirts and make it a totally scrappy back. Hmmm!
ReplyDeleteI'm working on a HST quilt and ripping out all my knitting! Oh the tragedy...
ReplyDeleteCongrats! I am on vacation this week in Yellowstone :)
ReplyDeleteI love the circles. Congratulations on your 300th or make that 317th follower. Thanks for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteI have a little bit of this but I'm hoarding it because it's so hard to find!

I am happy to be counted in the 300! Congrats! Your patterns are such fun! I am working on a Flying Birds(?) quilt with "Awesome" fabric, hence "Awesome Birds of a Feather :)" Thanks for the giveaway, such fun!
ReplyDeleteI wish I could say I spent all day sewing and quilting but alas, I haven't touched any fabric in ages. Life has just been too busy. I am hoping next week will be much quieter!
ReplyDeleteI'm working on having power so I can sew today (hurricane) If I can, I'm working on maple leaf blocsk for a swap
ReplyDeleteI am a new follower. I found you through the Moda Bake Shop. I love Amelia and what you have done with it. I am currently working on a Max and Whiskers Quilt for my daughter that my best friend helped design. angelea1975@aol.com
ReplyDeleteWork and family seem to be filling up time with little time for quilting. Just celebrated 27th b/d with daughter visiting from Indianapolis, and some recent job interviews for me (if it comes through, nice promotion and interesting work, but probably less time for quilting, but need to rebuild that 401k!) family wedding coming up and will see family so need to rush I-spy quilt for 3-year old. (already finished one for his cousin). Love the fabric.
ReplyDeleteI'm as always working on many projects at the same time, beth of this beth of that, quilting, cross stiching, crochet, decoupage, scrapbooking & ...
ReplyDeleteat the moment finishing crochet baby boy blanky.
Congratulations on over 300 followers !
