I"m in Texas! It just stopped snowing here. I"m making flannel sheets for the kids beds. It is so cold I need to start the oven and bake something now too! I'm also going to make some Mocha Mint Hot Chocolate: 3 c hot cocoa mix, 1/2c instant coffee, 1 c crushed butter mints...yummy!

I'm sewing a lot of Christmas presents, I'll be lucky to finish them in time, but right now i have a hand full of half sleeping bag for my sister-in-law. It's just half because it's meant for her to actually wear it when she sits by the computer many hours and keep her legs and feet warm. Outside it's 20cm squares of differente colourful fabrics and the inside is a Robert Kaufman yellow flannel. it's coming together great, i might add!!!

I am actually handmaking all of my gifts this year so ... 2 cashmere quilts, 2 lap quilts, 3 crayon rolls, 1 purse, 3 artsy clutches, 3 necklaces, 5 tissue holders, 5 aromatherapy sachets, 7 printed t-shirts, 1 waldorf doll, doll clothes, 1 busy book and 1 scarf. Whew - and I am almost done. Yay!

Wee Play - perfect for baby quilts! I'm Mary - currently living in FL and dreaming of a small place up in New Hampshire's White Mountains. I'm up to my eyeballs making them for my daughters' friends. It's a baby shower every time I turn around since they're all in their late 20's and early 30's. The only Christmas project I've finished so far is a Christmas Tree skirt for my two year old granddaughter.
