This is giving me nightmares.
See, it looks innocuous enough. Just a nice pattern. Various sizes. I even got it at 40% off.
Friends, I'm scared.
I have promised a certain precious 3-year old that I will defeat this giant by Halloween. I think it's going to be a series at the Wendy City. Anyone want to join in?
So I bought it. And I read it. Carefully.
I'm confused already.
And now I'm contemplating fabric. I don't even think I understand how much fabric to buy.
Stay tuned....
LOL - my 4-yr-old has been asking if she can grow a tail to be a mermaid :-)
ReplyDeleteI picked up the same pattern at Joann's and asked the fabric cutting gal if it was too hard for a beginner. She bluntly told me to put it back, and I obeyed. So, I think I'm going to fashion some kind of dress and attach felt "fins" to both sides at the bottom. Then, I'm going to glam-up those fins with the trusty glue-gun. I'll keep you posted!
ReplyDeleteprobably not the best pattern for a beginner, but it is easier than it looks. Pattern instructions are written to be confusing. Give a holler if you get stuck! :)
ReplyDeleteI am glad someone as fabulous as you still gets confused. It gives me hope. :)
