more strings...

I'm in love with string quilts. So I got started on them here and that helped me get a feel for what I could do with that method. And so....
next one is a baby quilt! Love it. It's going to be a charity quilt for this group who has a major fundraiser in April.
And here's a detail shot. I'm going to bind it in the pink solid.
And here's the best part...it's scraps!!

So here's the question -- what color to quilt it in?

  3. Goodness, who can top that last comment? Italian, no less! I think the quilt is awesome and I think the color to quilt it in would be that kind of new aquamarine blue that is so popular. It's very bright and would compete well with the pink, but give it so much punch. That's my opinion, but I wish I knew what makes it a "string" quilt? I didn't see any strings!
