50 comments... a GIVEAWAY!

Challenge for you all today.....
I have some more fat quarters I'd like to give away:

It's a fat quarter of each print shown from Amy Butler's Daisy Chain line.

Here's how to play--leave a comment and tell me where you are and what you're working on today. So for example,

I'm Wendy, I'm in the great state of Texas, and today I'm hoping my 2-year old will take a nap so that I can quilt my hula girls quilt actually quilted and get it in the mail. And I'm making a special dessert for a friend's 30th birthday get-together. And lamenting that I'm farther away from 30 than I'd like to admit...

I'll choose a winner randomly on Sunday night.
If we can get over 50 comments I'll give away 2 sets.... :)

ready, set, GO!

  2. I am also Wendy and I am also in the great state of Texas! I should win just based on that! I'm at work (shhhh!) and about to leave early on a Friday. I am going home to make dinner for my family and then make one five inch swap block. After that i'll start quilts for twin boys I know. I just finished a giant Amy Butler quilt for my sister and a baby quilt for my boss. I don't own a machine, so it's slow going. Hope I win! I love Amy Butler!

  5. Hi, I am Melody and I'm in Auburn California. I am working at the real JOB. I don't get to sew until 5:30pm PDST, that would be about 7:30pm Texas time. But I plan on working on a zigzag quilt when I get home... Is it time to go home yet????

  6. Oh, I love those greenish-blues! I'm Evelyn, working from home in Redmond. I'm working on a really tedious and frustrating task (stupid software stuff), which is driving me insane. But hey, it's my job. I take frequent little breaks to read a blog or two. ;-)

  8. This is Gina from the great State of Texas! Go Longhorns! (oops, that just disqualified me, huh Wendy...that's Hayden's goal, what can I say.) I am working on a quilt block swap for our family reunion in October. I am a new quilter, and I think I've been bitten hard! I love the colors in the fabrics! Maybe they could become part of the reunion quilts....

  9. Hi, I'm Anita and I'm in Florida. Today I worked outside, weeding, for 3 hrs...and I had a helper...so I am too tired to quilt today. I do have a quilt under the machine now in the midst of quilting, another on my kitchen table putting on the batting and backing and another on my cutting table waiting it's turn to get finished!

It's a purple suit jacket and pants, green satin shirt, and yellow taffeta vest. It is many first all rolled into one and it's due before Labor Day!

I am working on about 12 projects at once, most of them embroidery boms from various blogs, plus a couple of applique boms from the various blogs also, plus making a bluework baby quilt with all forms of transportation, including some really old cars, like a 1908 Cadillac from a Redwork book I bought years ago and never did anything with the designs before now.
