For giveaway day, I'm trying an experiment. I'm doing 2 giveaways.
Here's the first one:
It's a charm pack of Moda's Tranquiltity line. I bought 2 of these and used one to make this quilt for my grandma-in-law. And so I'd love to share the second one with someone else!To enter: leave a comment telling me about what you'd use it for.
To enter a second time: become a follower and leave a second comment telling me, or if you are already a follower, just leave a second comment telling me.
I'll close the entries on the 20th at 5pm central time.
And you might want to check out giveaway part 2......
Thanks for stopping by!
How fun! I don't know..tough choice...maybe skirts for my girls or a table runner or maybe...oh the possibilities are endless!
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm a new follower!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Charm Pack. I actually like the quilt you made for your grandmother-in-law. My immediate focus is making charity quilts for a wheel chair regatta (where disabled people are given free boat rides), as I want to give a lap quilt to the participants that we give rides to on our boat at this event.

ReplyDeleteI want to make a mini quilt for my secret sister and my daughter wants to make some pot holders or trivets for the table. That is some great stuff. Thanks for the chance!!!!!
ReplyDeleteIf I win, I will make a quilt of course. :0)

ReplyDeleteBrenda
I have some of this fabric to make a quilt for my bed. Mostly I have a bunch of the bird panels for the top part of the quilt. So I think I'd use the charms, together with leftovers from the quilt to make pillow cases or pillow shams to match.
ReplyDeleteB/.
I would definitely make a charm bag. I love the fabric. The quilt you made looks beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI am following. Great blog.
ReplyDeleteI would make a bag for a friend of mine..

ReplyDeleteA pieced pillow cover!
ReplyDeletePatchwork pillow covers for the throw pillows in my family room--they are in sore need of an update!
ReplyDeleteCharm packs are just about the best thing since indoor plumbing. There are so many patterns rattling around in my brain that NEED charms (oh, yes, I said NEED!). I am always happy for a new shopping bag, and charms are so much more charming (yes, I know) than the plain ol' canvas ones or those with a store's name ever so subtly splashed across the front... Wait, where was I?
ReplyDeleteOh, thank you. That's it. THANK YOU for participating in the fun today and for your generous giveaway! (Pick me!)
Thanks for the chance to win.. for me it would go into a quilt.. these are "my" colors so I could pull from my stash to add to the charm pack.

There is an organization in my hometown that houses single and abused pregnant women and helps to get them started after the baby is born. All the new babies get a handmade quilt to take home when the new moms leave. I make quilts to donate to that organization. I would use the charm pack to make a donation quilt.

ReplyDeleteI'd make a quilt. It's perfect for that, so, of course! ;)
ReplyDeleteI think I'd prefer the charm pack, simply because I actually already have several of the "random hodgepodge" fabrics that you have -- the sock monkeys, the crows, and yes, even the beets!!! Cheers from New Zealand!
ReplyDeleteLike (nearly) everyone else, I would use it in a quilt -- as centers of squares with solid sashing around them -- something like that.
ReplyDeleteThanks for a lovely giveaway.
Probably this patchwork diaper bag I've seen making the rounds...
ReplyDeleteAnd, been a subscriber for a while, now "following" too (what does "following" do? subscribing to the feed doesn't entail "following," so I'm confused... but whatever makes you happy!)
ReplyDeletethis could be exactly what it takes to get me to finally start a real quilt...

debyeo at hotmail dot com
I would make a table runner, yeah
ReplyDeletekristinamskinner@gmail.com
What a great prize - I would use it to make my first ever quilt!
ReplyDeleteWow... this giveaway really got me thinking! I mean the two options... I finally choose the charm pack, because I criticize my stash for being such a hodgepodge itself that if I keep adding totally uncoordinating fabrics it will one day rebel and kick me out of my own house, so I'll calm it down with some Momo. Plus... Momo is actually one of my favorite designers, so there's another reason for choosing this :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat I would do with it? I've been lately obsessed about how few pillows and cushions I have at home, so I would make some... As many as I can! :-)
Cheers from Barcelona, and thanks for the chance to win!
